Prepare questions and answer options

Use the table below to create the questions and answer options for your sports picks event. You can add up to 10 questions, with a maximum of 5 answer options for each question. Click the + below the table to add another question row and the + to the right of the header row to add another answer option column. You can delete each row or column by clicking the trashcans. Click Reset below the table, then Confirm, to return the table to its fresh starting state.

Create Timestamp

Use the functionality below to create a timestamp for when the event will close and answers will no longer be accepted. This time should be the start time of the first event that the picks/questions relate to. You can change either the local or UTC closing time, and the other time field will automatically update to match. Either method will also update the generated Discord timestamp. Click the yellow button below to copy the timestamp.

Start Event

Go to #🏆daily-events and type /sportspicks, attach the CSV you downloaded to the questions_csv command and paste the timestamp into the time_end command. Once you click enter or send the message, Rollbot will share a message stating how the event works, the questions, the time ending, and the button for players to click to enter.

If you want Rollbot to tag @Events, set the tag command to True. If you do not add this command, it will default to False and not tag @Events.

Extras

If you notice the wrong match start time was used, an event starts early, or something else weird happens, use /sportspicksend to immediately end the event and stop accepting answers. Once this command is used, or once time naturally runs out, the original bot message will update to show the event is closed and results will be shared after all matches are complete.
